The everyday life of common objects such as food, and famous icons typical of pop art, become the subject of the artist who creates a narration characterized by bright colors and imperfect shapes. It is indeed through crushed and warped aluminium cans that gumm gives life to hyper-realistic and hyper-sized sculptures, inspired also by his own private collection of soda cans from all over the world. His art focus thus on transformation, and this is the reason why one of his symbols, recurrent in his sculptures, is the butterfly.
But that of the butterfly is not the only figure trough wich his art is expressed. In fact, the artist finds other metaphoric images in flowers and hearts with wich he builds new forms able to amaze the wiewers by involving them visually and emotionally.
